Recipe Ingredients 4 2/3 cups of Ale 9 1/2 oz. Brandy 1 pint of Water 4 oz. Brown Sugar Slice of Lemon Several Cloves Pinch of Cinnamon (Or to taste) Mixing Instruction First dissolve the sugar in the water. Add the lemon, the cloves and the cinnamon and stir well. Heat with the other ingredients, along with two pieces of toast sprinkled with nutmeg and ginger. Serve warm. |
